A review of the Nokia 101, sure to be one of the most popular phones to be released this year and a seriously affordable dual SIM device.
The most affordable dual SIM phone to hit the market

A new phone due to be released to the market is the Nokia 101. This is a great little phone that is available at an excellent price. Considering this cheap price the phone has many great features built in.

Within the phone there is 5 GB memory, this is a massive amount of space for storing images, songs and videos. The phone also has the capability to support GPRS and EDGE connectivity, to allow users to go online with the phone. The phone has a slot for a microSD card, a built in FM Radio and a music player, all these great features perfect for someone after an entertainment filled phone on a budget.

There is an excellent battery built into the Nokia 101, this allows over 8 hours of talk-time and 768 hours of standby time. SMS messaging on the phone has never been easier with a great predictive text feature.

The look of this device does not let it down either, with a nice 1.8 inch colour display and small size, perfect for fitting in to your pocket or handbag. The amount of data space available on this phone allows users to store up to 5 address books, well as details from 5 different SIMI cards.

This dual SIM Nokia phone has a really good design and does not look or feel like a model you would get elsewhere in this price range. On top of the device is a 3.5mm jack for audio as well as a torch.

Considering the price of the handset, there are plenty of features to keep you entertained, there a plenty of built in games for users to enjoy, or if it is music you enjoy then the built in music player is sure to keep you entertained with an allowance of up to 16 GB of data, by using a microSD card in the slot provided.

To conclude, the Nokia 101 is the best phone out within this price range, when you are talking about value for money there is nothing better out there. Tons of features to keep users entertained as well as great battery life and excellent reliability as you would expect from any Nokia phone.

At this price, the 101 is sure to prove popular with festival goers, teenagers looking for their first phone, business travellers looking for an emergency device and older people in need of a reasonably priced way to stay in touch. The Nokia 101 may not be the most exciting phone to hit the market but it is one to watch.

Nokia 101 - Great phone

Jan 10, 2012 by Janet Morgan

Looking at what some people spend on phones (think about the cost of a contract phone over 24 months!), I think this mobile is quite remarkable value for money at around £30.
Not a touch screen but who cares.

Great for business use

This phone may not be particularly attractive but as a business user who often travels abroad, it is great to be able to have dual sim functionality. No longer do I need to fumble about in my wallet to find my European SIM, it's already in the handset, just switch and go.
