e2Save.com was founded in 1999 and is part of the Carphone Warehouse Group / Best Buy Europe Group, one of the biggest mobile technology organisations in the world. Specialising in mobiles, smartphones, netbooks and laptops, e2Save is a big contender for a piece of the online tech market pie.

The Shopping Experience

The website is very easy to navigate. there are various ways to search for a product. You can use the tabs across the top to browse the various categories or you can search for a particular model or by price, using the search section on the left. There are lots of early bird Christmas deals, including free gifts when you sign up for a contract.
They accept most major credit cards but unfortunately, they don’t have the option to pay via paypal.

Bargain Hunting

From £20.58 per month on a 24 month contract, you can have the Samsung Galaxy S2 phone with 200 mins plus unlimited texts and  750MB data. They are also offering a free laptop with many of the contracts. For example if you sign up for the Nokia 1800 mobile at £26.00 per month for 24 months, they’ll throw in a free HP Pavillion Laptop! They are even offering a free t.v. with many of the bundle deals.

Delivery and Returns

They offer free next day delivery if you place your order before 5pm according to their delivery page and 6pm according to the ‘reasons to shop with us’ information on the left panel on the site. You’re out of luck if you live in Northern Scotland or in off shore locations, in which case, you’ll have to wait up to 5 days. For returns, if you change your mind, or if you find the product is faulty when it arrives, they will happily exchange or cancel your agreement and provide a refund. You need to let them know within seven days from when your order arrives.

Customer Service

The customer service section of the site is organised well. It’s easy to find information and they provide lots of helpful articles, contact info etc. They have a blog, highlighting all the latest industry news.

They also maintain social media profiles on Twitter, where they appear to be fairly active and up to date. On Facebook they have polls, hold competitions and post interesting relevant info. Their  Youtube channel is very good. They have uploaded a multitude of videos, reviewing phones and providing tips and tricks for various phone models. They even have a video to explain the mis-conceptions of what a refurbished phone is. If you sign up for their newsletter, you will automatically be entered into our free prize draw to win a fabulous Sony PS3 and PS move!
