Blackberry has released their new device, the Playbook after a year of preparation. The tablet device emphasises all the great software that the BlackBerry phone device does only with more capability, with a high-definition video playback on a seven-inch screen.
One of the most ideal features of the Playbook is that it is light-weight and a very versatile device. The device is very useful in many different ways, these include; high standard software, a choice of many apps to keep you updated with the latest news and social networking updates, the device is also great for using to store and view pictures and videos in high quality.
The device’s internet browser is super quick at downloading content as well as having the ability to open up a different App and use it at the same time, this just being one of many impressive features especially good news for those using the Playbook for business purposes. The Playbook’s App world is accessible with just a flick of a finger allowing you to browse through several different Apps at any one time.
The BlackBerry tablet has speedy functions to make accessing BBC iPlayer and other Flash content a breeze. The BlackBerry Bridge feature is another feature of the device; this enables you to link up your BlackBerry phone device to the PlayBook thus allowing you to use 3G signal from your phone on your PlayBook, as well as the ability to use BlackBerry messenger and being able to view phone contacts details.
BlackBerry’s PlayBook is still an on-going creation that has time to improve the state of its device and add a lot better features to the tablet. BlackBerry can work on this with a 3G version which they will be bringing out in the near future as well as the possibility of a more diverse App world.
Overall the device is quite handy, reliable, versatile and easy to function. Although there is room for improvement the features of the PlayBook are very impressive, in particular the speed of the device’s internet browser. In time with improvement in some areas of the BlackBerry PlayBook, the tablet could become the number one tablet on the sales market.
